Leadership lecture

A  Leadership lecture was conducted at the Faculty of International Relations on March 30, 2024, featuring Aibolat Serikzhanovich Abitbekov, a graduate of the “International Relations” major and the “Bolashak” program, Director of the Department of International Cooperation Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

           The Leadership lecture titled “From IRF to Ivy League” focused on strategies for gaining admission to top foreign universities.Aibolat outlined seven steps for university admission, emphasizing the importance of mindset adjustment, idea development, fear elimination, self-belief, goal setting, writing skills, and successful enrollment.

           Aibolat shared stories from his academic experiences at Cornell University in the United States, discussed the intricacies of his role in the Department of Interparliamentary Relations and Protocol of the Apparatus of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan,and the work of the Department of International Cooperation.

          Aibolat’s lecture was conducted in a vibrant and dynamic atmosphere, captivating his audience with its engaging content. The students found it inspiring and engaging, leading many to participate in an extended session where real-life scenarios were analyzed, and personalized guidance was provided.
