Excursion to the Museum of the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan
On 04/02/2024, the students of the ISK-111 group, under the guidance of the curator of the group, Ergali D. E., visited the museum of the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The history of the monetary system and its development is an urgent topic that is of interest to anyone, no matter at what stage it is. The answer to many questions can be found in the museum of the National Bank, which is one of the most unique museums in the Republic of Kazakhstan. This is due to the fact that this museum is the only one on the territory of the Republic where a wide variety of samples of banknotes are presented. The official opening of the museum took place on November 13th, 1997 in the building of the National Bank. On an excursion held at the museum, the students got acquainted with the exhibits produced from the VIII century to the present day. The expositions present the main stages of the evolution of the monetary system – banknotes and coins used in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan, from the Silk Road to modern banknotes of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The students asked their questions to the museum staff and received a lot of valuable information. The students listened with great interest to the information provided and shared their impressions.
