«Neuroscience of Health»

On March 18, 2024 a lecture on the topic “Neuroscience of Health” was held for 3rd year students of the specialty “6B05109-Neuroscience”. The lecture within the framework of ASD 3 (the aim of ensuring a healthy lifestyle and promoting the well-being of the specialty for everyone at any age) was givenby Associate Professor Kamzanova A.T. of the Department of Biophysics, Biomedicine and Neuroscience.

The lecture was aimed to understand the relationship between the brain and health, as well as teaching basic skills and ways to maintain mental health based on Neuroscience data. Mechanisms, conditions, methods of positive development, relationship between cognitive health and healthy longevity, and methods of personal health were considered. As an additional task, students analyzed the health ecology diagram, which reflects factors influencing health such as the environment, social environment, brain functions, neurotransmitters, hormones, and personality.
