The Department of Finance and Accounting of the Higher School of Economics and Business of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University organized an international training seminar within the framework of SDG 4 "Quality Education", as well as within the framework of the Orkhun international exchange program. The event was held between the member universities of the Union of Turkic Universities of the Turkic Council on April 1, 2024, from 11:00 to 12:30 on the topic: "Academic collaboration of universities of Central Asian countries in the context of digital transformation of higher education."
The international training seminar was opened with a welcoming speech by the Dean of the HSE, Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Ph.D. in Economics, Acting Professor, L.A. Bimendiyeva, Head of the Finance and Accounting Department, HSE of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Ph.D. in Economics, Associate Professor A.Z. Nurmagambetova and Vice-Rector of Kokand University (Uzbekistan) https://www.kokanduni.uz/uz, Boburmirzo Xursanaliyev also welcomed participants.
The following speakers made interesting and relevant topics: Asilova A.S., Candidate of Economics, Acting Associate Professor - Advantages and problems of digital technologies in the financial market of Kazakhstan; Asanova A.B., Candidate of Economics, Acting Associate Professor – Assessment of companies' involvement in ESG transformation; Aliyeva B.M., Candidate of Economics, Acting Associate Professor - Financial literacy as a method of combating fraud; Azizjon Umarov, Boburmirzo Xursanaliyev - Pricing for international transportation between Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan.
At the end of the event, there was an open discussion and summing up. The guests of Kokand University (Uzbekistan) thanked me for the invitation to the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, and expressed respect and desire for further cooperation.
