"Gender Problems of Modern Kazakhstan"

7 april, 2024

Women and girls make up half of the world's population, which is equal to half of humanity's potential. Gender equality, one of the most important human rights, plays a key role in ensuring peace and harmony in society and the full realisation of human potential on the basis of sustainable development. Women's inclusion in society has been shown to increase productivity and economic growth. Unfortunately, humanity has a long way to go to achieve full equality between men and women in terms of their rights and opportunities.

Taking into account the relevance of this issue 28.03.2024 at the Faculty of Medicine and Public Health, Associate Professor of the Department of EB and DM Raushanova A.M. conducted a webinar: "Debate: gender problems of modern Kazakhstan" with students of the 2th year of speciality "Public Health".
