The HSEB hosted an International scientific-practical conference

April 8-9, 2024. The International scientific-practical conference entitled "Paradigm of sustainable economic development in the context of global changes: challenges, consequences, opportunities" will be held at Al-Farabi KazNU Higher School of Economics and Business as part of the 2nd International Farabi Forum.

At the plenary meeting, Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan –Takiyev Madi, President of the Association of Higher Education Institutions, Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor – Alshanov Rahman, Founder of the «Lanzhou» restaurant chain, Advisor to the Chairperson of the Catering Associations – Gulbanu Maigarina, Deputy of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan of the VIII convocation  – Mukayev Daulet, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of «Otbasy Bank» JSC – Akshanov Nurlan,Founder of «Kazakh fastfood Bauyrdakh» – KusanbayevAktilek, Deputy Akim of Astana – Bayken Yeset Berikovich,director of the branch of JSC NC «Kazakhstan Temir Zholy» –Madiyar Sultanbek, associate Professor of Royal Institute of Technology, PhD – Antonio Maffei, Doctor of Economics Science, Professor of the Department «Economics» –Tulegenova Madina will make a report. At the Section meetings will participate scientists from Turkey, Italy, Uzbekistan and from other countries with their reports.

Areas of discussed topics include current issues in the modern economy: business technologies in the context of sustainable development, digital transformation of the financial and accounting system, new management trends in turbulent conditions, strategic priorities of economic development.

In addition, practical seminars and workshops with the participation of representatives of the private sector and business environment will be organized within the framework of the conference.
