KazNU undergoes institutional accreditation

In Al-Farabi KazNU started institutional accreditation, external audit is carried out by experts from the Independent Agency for Quality Assurance in Education (IAQA).

The first day is devoted to interviews with the university management, including teachers and students. Erkin Duisenov, member of the Board - Vice-Rector for Operations, told the NAOCO experts about the activities of the leading university of the country.

Al-Farabi KazNU celebrates its 90th anniversary this year. The University holds 230th place in the world ranking QS Word University Ranking, 29th place in QS Asia University Ranking and 1st place in QS Central Asia, has a mark of excellence "5 QS Stars".  The main goal of KazNU is transformation into a world-class research university. Strategic objectives of the university - integration of scientific activity and educational process at all levels of higher and postgraduate education, increasing the contribution of university science to the socio-economic development of the country, etc. Then the vice-rector spoke in detail about the unique scientific and innovative activity of the university structure, realized scientific projects, publication activity of the university scientists, innovations in education, contribution of Al-Farabi KazNU to the socio-economic development of Kazakhstan, etc. The meeting of experts with the management of the university ended with the meeting of the experts. Further, the experts of the Independent Agency for Quality Assurance in Education met with vice-rectors, heads of structural divisions, deans of faculties of the university. These interviews are aimed at obtaining valuable sources of information about various aspects of the university's activities and its commitment to academic integrity and innovation.

Institutional accreditation serves as evidence of an educational institution's continued commitment to providing quality education and promoting cutting-edge research initiatives. The accreditation process carefully evaluates the quality of education and scholarly activities of the educational organization, ensuring compliance with established standards and best practices.

Institutional accreditation will continue for one month, as a result of which the expert commission will summarize the results and make a conclusion.
