Victimology and its role in crime prevention (round table)

  On April 10, 2024, a 1st-year doctoral student of the Department of Criminal Law, Criminal Proceedings and Criminalistics of the Faculty of Law of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Turysbek R. B. held a round table on "Victimology and its role in crime prevention" as part of the week of Science and SDG No. 4 "Quality Education". The discussion covered the history of victimology’s development, its features as a science, and its interdisciplinary connections. Participants recognized victimology as a branch of criminology and discussed its significance in understanding and preventing crimes. Throughout the roundtable, participants engaged in questioning, actively exchanged opinions, and shared experiences.
