In memory of Gaziz Baitasov: an information lecture at the department
An information lecture dedicated to the memory of the National Hero Gaziz Abdibekovich Baitasov was held at the Department of Criminal Law, Criminal Procedure and Criminalistics of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.
The lecture was organized within the framework of Science Week and the implementation of SDG 16 – "Promoting peaceful and inclusive societies for sustainable development, ensuring access to justice for all and building effective, accountable and inclusive institutions at all levels."
The event was attended by:
* Students, undergraduates and young scientists of the Department of Criminal Law, Criminal Procedure and Criminalistics.
* Young scientists of the Academy of Law Enforcement Agencies under the Prosecutor General's Office of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kostanay Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan named after Sh. Kabylbayev, Karaganda Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan named after B. Beisenov, Almaty Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan named after M. Esbulatov and other universities of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The head of the department, R.E. Dzhansaraeva, Doctor of Law, Professor, addressed the participants of the lecture with a welcoming speech. She noted the importance of studying the legacy of Gaziz Abdibekovich Baitasov in order to form a sense of patriotism, professional responsibility and a desire to serve their people among future lawyers.
During the lecture, the following topics were considered:
* The main stages of the life and work of Gaziz Abdibekovich Baitasov.
* The feat of Gaziz Abdibekovich Baitasov.
The speakers were:
* Gulzagira Makhatovna Atakhanova, Candidate of Law, Professor.
* Akbolatova Maral Yeltayevna, PhD, senior lecturer.
* Bisenova Meruert Kylyshbaevna, Candidate of Law, Associate Professor.
In their speeches, the speakers emphasized the outstanding services of Gaziz Baitasov to the people of Kazakhstan. They noted his high professionalism, integrity, loyalty to his ideals and commitment to the protection of human rights.
As part of the lecture, a presentation of the study room dedicated to the life and work of Gaziz Baitasov was also held. The study room contains an extensive collection of materials, including official uniforms, books, photographs, video and audio recordings, as well as a diploma and official passport of Gaziz Abdibekovich Baitasov.
Following the lecture, a discussion took place, during which the participants of the event were able to ask questions to the speakers and share their opinions.
Holding an information lecture dedicated to the memory of Gaziz Baitasov was an important step in the implementation of SDG 16. The event helped to raise awareness among young people about the life and work of the National Hero, as well as stimulated interest in studying his legacy.
