12.04.2024. Teachers of the Department of Customs, Financial and Environmental Law K.M. On April 11, 2024, Kozhabek and S. Zhapakov held an open lecture with 3rd year students within the framework of SDG 13. The problems of climate warming and flooding were raised. During the lectures, it was also explained that currently the consequences of climate change include not only floods, but also severe droughts, water shortages, severe fires, rising sea levels, melting polar ice caps, catastrophic storms and loss of biodiversity. Human activities contribute to climate change by causing changes in atmospheric concentrations of greenhouse gases, aerosols (fine particles) and cloudiness.
