1. What is Enactus?
Enactus is an international student organization that enables students to develop innovative projects in economics, sociology, education, environmental protection, and information technology. It collaborates with universities and companies to cultivate sustainable and innovative ideas. Enactus has various departments, such as marketing, finance, PR, and HR, which assist students in achieving their goals. Students from various countries present their best projects at the Enactus World Cup. This prestigious championship is held in different countries around the world, and this year, it will take place in Kazakhstan.
2.Enactus in Kazakhstan
Student Nazerke Kenesbekova told that the history of Enactus in Kazakhstan began in 2004 when the first team was organized in Almaty. The president of Enactus Kazakhstan is Albina Yerzhanova. The Enactus organization offers many opportunities. Every year, it organizes a winter and summer camp. This year, the Winter Camp 2024 was held at the "Tau-Turan" camp, located in the picturesque area of the Zailiysky Alatau, where teams from all corners of the country gathered. Over five days, we engaged in various intellectual games and listened to speakers discuss diverse topics. Alumni of Enactus Kazakhstan also made presentations at the event. Their topics included legal literacy, from idea to Enactus project, starting a business from scratch, art, and much more. The camp provided an opportunity to meet other Enactus participants from different cities and universities and to gain a lot of useful information.
3.Enactus at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.
At KazNU, Enactus has also been active since 2004. Currently, the team KAZNU Enactus is led and sponsored by Professor Mailibay Kapanovich Aldabergenov, a Doctor of Chemical Sciences. Leading national and international companies such as Beeline, E-way, Eurasian Bank, Deloitte, Success Motivation, Microsoft, and others actively support the development of the program.
Our team is currently preparing for the National Cup. The team plans to carry out a major project titled "Asyl Zher". The "Asyl Zher" project is aimed at addressing and developing agriculture in Kazakhstan. The essence of the project is to enhance soil quality using natural components with the addition of humatophosphate. The project addresses the following SDGs: 2, 3, 8, 12, 13, 15.
The organization continues to grow and evolve, contributing to the sustainable development of society through innovative ideas and practical solutions.
