We invite you to take part in the open lecture of the Toxinet network!

Dear colleagues,

The Department of Physical Chemistry, Catalysis and Petrochemistry invites faculty members, doctoral students, master's students, and undergraduates from universities and research institutes, as well as all interested parties, to participate in an open lecture organized by the ToxicNet network (with the assistance of the Center for Sustainable Development) titled: «The SDG policy is to achieve a better and more sustainable future for all. Combating the Impact of Pesticides and POPs on Health and the Environment».

The aim of the ToxicNet network is to raise awareness among students about the impact of pesticides, obsolete pesticides, as well as persistent organic pollutants and the necessary measures to prevent their negative effects.

Additionally, during the lecture, there will be an announcement about a creative photography contest among students, aimed at drawing attention to the issues of the negative impact of hazardous chemicals on human health and the environment!

Event venue: Yedil Yergozhin’ Academic Council meeting room, Faculty of Chemistry and Chemical Technology, Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.
