Members of the research group of the project “Victimological problems of preventing domestic violence” visited the Museum of History of the Caspian University of Technology and Engineering named after. Sh. Yesenova.
As part of the implementation of the UN Sustainable Development Goal No. 11 “Ensuring inclusive, safe, sustainable and accessible cities and settlements”, members of the research group of the project “Victimological problems of preventing domestic violence” of the Department of Criminal Law, Criminal Procedure and Criminology visited the Museum of History of the Caspian University of Technology and engineering named after. Sh. Yesenova.
A tour of the museum was a real immersion into the rich history of the university, its formation and development. Members of the research group got acquainted with unique exhibits telling about the university’s achievements in the field of science, technology and education.
Particular attention was paid to the section devoted to the history of the fight against domestic violence. Materials were presented here reflecting the university’s work in this area, as well as information about the achievements of scientists in the development of new methods of preventing and combating this negative social phenomenon.
A visit to the museum was not only an educational event, but also a reason for reflection on the importance of joint work of scientists, practitioners and members of the public in countering domestic violence.
