This year, from April 4 to 9, the UN Conference “Change the World” was held in New York, USA, organized by the Association of Diplomats.

About 150,000 people from more than 140 countries applied to participate in the said conference, and only about 3,000 people were selected and arrived at the final destination in New York. The conference was attended by American political strategist Valerie Biden Owens, UN Deputy Secretary General, Italian Foreign Minister, Chairman of the Association of Diplomats and many other world leaders.

During the conference, pressing issues of the modern world were raised and a number of proposals were voiced.

Iyabai Bekasyl, a graduate of EP 6B050006-Economics 2022, currently a master’s student in the Economics and Political Science program at the University of Milan in Italy, took part in this conference and made a presentation on the topic “Rights and protection of migrant workers.” During the report, he raised the issue of “reviewing the challenges and opportunities associated with labor migration,” which sparked heated discussion.

We are proud of our graduates and wish them good luck! @bekassyl.iyabay
