Contribution of scientists from the Department of Biotechnology to the development of rice farming in Kazakhstan

In January 2024, a collective monograph “Physiological-biochemical, genetic-breeding and biotechnological research of rice in Kazakhstan” was published dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. The publication covers the period of research from 2015 to 2024, carried out within the framework of program-targeted and grant funding from the Committee of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan (MNVO RK) and international collaboration with leading scientific centers in Russia, the Philippines, China, and Japan.

The monograph will become an interesting and useful source of knowledge for specialists in the field of physiology, genetics, biotechnology and plant breeding, as well as for master's and doctoral students at specialized universities.
