KALIMOLDAEV MAKSAT

Born on June 18, 1957 in the village Tekes, Raiymbek district, Almaty region. In 1975, he entered the Faculty of Mechanics and Applied Mathematics of Kazakh State University named S.M.Kirov. In 1980, he graduated from Kazakh State University with a degree in applied mathematics.

From 1980 to 1982 worked as an engineer at the laboratory of economic and mathematical methods at the Institute of Mathematics and Mechanics of the Academy of Sciences of the Kazakh SSR. Since 1982, he began studying at the scientific school of the famous Kazakh scientist in the field of control theory S.A.Aisagaliev. From that moment to the present, the life and work of M.Kalimoldaev are inextricably linked with Kazakh State University. Here he went from senior laboratory assistant, graduate student, assistant, senior lecturer, associate professor of the Department of Control Theory to professor of the Department of Information Systems of al-Farabi Kazakh National University.

Under the guidance of professors S.A.Aisagaliev and T.N.Biyarov prepared and successfully defended his candidate's dissertation on the topic “Study of the dynamics of multidimensional phase systems” (1990).

In 2000, he defended his doctoral dissertation on the topic “Stability and mathematical modeling of nonlinear multidimensional phase systems” (2000). Professor M.Kalimoldaev is the author of more than 60 scientific works, including four monographs and five textbooks for universities and applicants. Three candidate's theses were defended under his leadership.

Organizational skills allowed M.Kalimoldaev to combine scientific and teaching activities with administrative work. In 2001-2003 – Head of Department and Deputy Director of the Science Department of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan. In 2003-2005 – First Deputy Chairman of the Higher Attestation Committee.

Since 2008 – Director of the Institute of Informatics and Management Problems of the Science Committee of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Awarded a letter of gratitude from the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan (2001), diplomas and thanks from KazNU.
