“My chosen profession” SDG 8 – Decent work and economic growth
Economic growth is essential for many developing countries because it improves the quality of life. Growth is necessary to meet the needs of a growing global population. One solution to the problem is to improve the quality of labor and productivity. For this purpose, together with 1st year students (1st, 2nd, 3rd groups) of the Faculty of Geography and Environmental Management of the Department of Geoinformatics and Cartography, we organized a video competition on the goals of choosing a specialty in geodesy and cartography. We were especially pleased with the goals and dreams of our students as future professionals. After that, together with our students, we drank tea and cake.
In addition, this educational hour coincided with the Day of “Geodesy, Cartography and Land Management”, and our students actively took part in the festive event organized by our department and showed their skills (Excerpts from a video clip).
