Excursion to the Eurasian Foods Corporation plant

On March 26, 2024, As part of achieving SDG 4 “Quality education” (4.3.4 Educational outreach outside the university complex) 3rd year students of the ЕP “Food Chemistry and Technology” visited the plant of the largest holding company in the Republic of Kazakhstan, “Eurasian Foods Corporation”.

The Eurasian Foods Corporation holding is one of the leading and significant enterprises in the food industry in Kazakhstan and the countries of Central Asia, the recognized leader of the republic among producers of fat and oil products. The “Шедевр” vegetable oil, various types of butter, mayonnaise, ketchup, and sauces are produced here. The students listened with interest to the lecture on the production of sunflower oil by the head of the refining workshop N. Nesiphanova, got acquainted with the oil refining workshop, the physical and chemical analysis laboratory, the product packaging workshop and the work of the innovation laboratory for the development of new products and approaches implemented to solve the problems of sustainable development in food production.
