NOT ALL SUPERFOODS ARE "SUPER"

Students of the 3rd year of the specialty 6B07202 - “Food chemistry and Technology " of the Faculty of Chemistry and Chemical Technology of the Kazakh National University.Al-Farabi conducted an analysis of active additives on the market on the topic "Superfood is not everything SUPER" in the implementation of the SDG-3 goal. The number of foods and drinks labeled as "superfoods", "superfruits" or "superfruits" is growing every year. According to statistics, by 2029, the consumption of superfoods will reach the level of 10.7%. This means 664 tons.

Superfoods are really strong, boost immunity, and are rich in essential minerals, especially beneficial to women's health, preventing diseases such as fibroids and infertility. However, not everything is "super". There are those that affect the body in different ways. But not many people understand this. It is considered a natural product, it is considered a cure for all diseases. People who have elevated antibodies in their thyroid gland should absolutely not drink spirulina and chlorella.
