Research internship at the University of Debrecen in Debrecen, Hungary.

Karabalayeva Dina Ezimkhanovna, a 2nd-year doctoral student in the specialty "Geobotany" of the Department of Biodiversity and Bioresources, is undergoing a scientific internship at the University of Debrecen in Debrecen, Hungary Laboratory of plant molecular phylogenetics.

The University of Debrecen is the largest educational institution in Debrecen and one of the leading universities in Hungary.

The topic of the doctoral student's dissertation is a population-genetic study of species of the genus Trollius L. found on the territory of Kazakhstan to assess the current state.  During the scientific internship, the doctoral student studies the genetic diversity of various populations of the genus Trollius in Kazakhstan.

The foreign scientific supervisor is Gabor Shramko, Ph.D., Head of the research group on Evolutionary Genomics at the Hungarian Academy of Sciences.  The internship period is 01.04.2024-15.05.2024.
