Students of other nationalities studying in the 1st year Russian group at Al – Farabi College took part in the competition, writing an essay "state language is my language" on May 1, dedicated to the holiday of unity of the peoples of Kazakhstan. Purpose: to express their opinion that representatives of other nationalities living in the Republic of Kazakhstan, in addition to their native language, must necessarily know the state language – Kazakh.
Currently, the importance and weight of the state language in the life of society is increasing day by day. The younger generation has every opportunity to speak their native language, get an education in the Kazakh language, and master other languages. In any country or nation, the language is revered, sacred and powerful.
