On April 30, 2024, 1st year undergraduates of the Department of Analytical, Colloid Chemistry and Technology of Rare Elements, as part of their teaching practice, held an event for students and teachers of the faculty dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the al-Farabi Kazakh National University.
The participants of the event were welcomed and congratulated on the anniversary of the university by the dean of the faculty, Professor Galeyeva A.K. Participants were shown a film prepared by undergraduates about the history of the faculty, reflecting the main points of its development. The speakers of different generations were Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor, laureate of the State Prize of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the field of science and technology Nauryzbaev M.K., Head of the Department of Analytical, Colloid Chemistry and Technology of Rare Elements, Associate Professor Argimbaeva A.M., 3rd year student Mukanov A., who shared memories of their student years, teachers who gave the way to big science, life experience within the walls of the university; told how they see the university in the future. A quiz was organized for the participants on knowledge of the history of the university and the faculty, the winners were awarded with gifts. The participants were greatly impressed by the song "Koreguly" performed by Mukanov A.
The event participants expressed gratitude to the undergraduates for organizing and conducting such an interesting and useful event.
