Within the framework of SDG 4 "Quality Education", 1st year students of the specialty "Computer Engineering" and "Computer Science" of the Russian department visited the museum of al-Farabi Kazakh National University. During the tour, the guide introduced the students to the history and activities of our university from its foundation to the present day, because the rich history of university creation is worthily represented in more than 5 thousand historical valuable documents and rare museum exhibits, which are collected in 120 showcases.
The Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Museum is a scientific and information department of the university, the purpose of which is to preserve, enhance and promote the cultural and historical values of the university to ensure effective scientific and educational training, moral and patriotic education of our students, competitive in Kazakhstan and at the world level.

Thus, the guided tour gave the 1st year students the opportunity to get acquainted with the history of our university, expand their cognitive interest, instill respect and a sense of gratitude to the founders of the university, cultivate a sense of patriotism, and also get answers to their questions.
