Sustainable Development Goal 6: Ensuring the availability and rational use of water resources

On October 06, students of group GM 22-04 discussed the sixth goal of sustainable development: Ensuring the availability and rational use of water resources. According to the UN, almost half of the world's population suffers from water shortages. Experts estimate that more than 780 million people around the world lack access to clean drinking water. And 1.7 billion people need fresh water. Thousands of people die every year due to the lack of clean water and unsanitary conditions in the world. Therefore, the most pressing issue is the rational use of water resources at the international level.
