      Aida Nurgalievna Munaitpasova, senior lecturer of the Department of Meteorology and Hydrology, Ph.D., was specially invited to the curatorial hour conducted by 2nd year students of the specialty “Natural and Technogenic Risks”, and gave a lecture on the topic 13th point of the Sustainable Development Goals “Fight with climate change."

      Aida Nurgalievna gave students detailed information about climate change in Kazakhstan and the world. Natural disasters caused by climate change were also covered.

      She also listened to students' views on the issue, noting that it is important to address the root causes of climate change through adaptation strategies and reduce the impact of natural disasters on both human society and the environment.

      At the end of the meeting, students answered test questions related to other areas of the sustainable development goals.
