SDG 11-Educational hour "Planning of urban construction projects"

Participants: Department of cartography and Geoinformatics of kaznu

3rd year students of the specialty Geoinformatics

Lesson format: offline

We conducted an educational hour with the 3rd courses of the Department of cartography and Geoinformatics of kaznu -"planning urban planning projects".

Currently, work is underway on the intensive use of urban space on the territory of the country. Every day the construction is developing rapidly, and the demand for it is growing day by day. At the same time, due to the increase in the cost of land plots, there is a tendency to increase the density of construction and the construction of high-rise structures. All of these issues require changes in the requirements for accurate determination of geometric dimensions of buildings and structures, as well as extreme accuracy when installing structures, laying the foundations of buildings and structures. As you know, the southern capital is one of the most seismic zones in the CIS.

In the last decade, manufacturers of Geodetic equipment began to produce laser electronic tacheometers without reflectors. These Geodetic instruments made the work of the surveyor more efficient and easier, and most importantly-made it possible to quickly solve a number of tasks that geodesists face every day. Of course, such devices are ideal for architectural measurements. The use of reflector-free tacheometers in comparison with previously used measurement systems has increased labor productivity by about three times.
