Preparations for the QS pre-summit in KazNU are elaborated

Chairman of the Board-Rector of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Zhanseit Tuimebayev held a meeting with the Regional Director of QS rating agency for Russia, Eastern Europe, Central Asia Sergey Khristolyubov and the manager for the organization of events Sean Pereira.

The parties familiarized themselves with the work plan of the upcoming QS pre-summit on the basis of KazNU and worked out the preparatory work. They also discussed the issues carried out within the framework of development of bilateral cooperation.

At the meeting the head of the university noted the great experience of KazNU in holding international conferences and symposiums. Therefore, the university takes all necessary measures in holding the pre-summit at a high level.

It should be noted that at the end of the year KazNU is planning to hold QS summit on higher education in the Asia-Pacific region. It is expected that 800 experts in the field of higher education from almost 50 countries of the world will take part in its work.

In turn, Sergey Khristolyubov and Sean Pereira expressed their gratitude to the rector of the university for partnership and assistance in organizing the event.

During the working visit to KazNU representatives of QS familiarized themselves with the results of the work done at the university in the directions of the Sustainable Development Goals. 

Also toured the facilities on campus where the pre-summit will be held.
