A scientific seminar was held at the Institute of Nuclear Physics with the participation of Fazilet Zumrud Biber Muftuler, a professor at the Institute of Nuclear Sciences at one of the prestigious universities in Turkey, “Ege University”. Students of the EP Nuclear Medicine Department of Theoretical and Nuclear Physics of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University also took part in this seminar.
The professor made a presentation on the topic: “A general perspective on preclinical radiolabeling studies.” In her report, Professor Fazilet Zumrud shared the results of her research in the field of radiochemistry. The professor's research interests include multidisciplinary preclinical research, including the design and synthesis of radiolabeled isotopes 99mTc and 131/125I.
The professor also spoke about opportunities for participation in international programs for academic and scientific cooperation in Turkey.
Professor Fazilet Zumrud Biber Muftuler has more than 20 years of research experience in the field of radiochemistry and nuclear medicine. According to the scientometric database Scopus, it has 62 publications, and its H-index (citation index) is 13.
