KazNU team - winner of the Olympiad on statistics

The team of KazNU took the 3rd prize-winning place in the 2nd International Student Olympiad in Statistics (Russia, Moscow), organized by the Interstate Statistical Committee of the Commonwealth of Independent States.

Thirteen teams from Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan participated in the Olympiad. Demonstrating excellent preparation, excellent knowledge and skills, the team of Al-Farabi KazNU took the 3rd place.

The team was headed by senior lecturer of the Department of Artificial Intelligence and Big Data of the Faculty of Information Technologies of KazNU Asel Ospan.

The team included: 3rd year student of the educational program "Data Science" Diana Tanatar, 1st year master student of the educational program "Business Analytics and Big Data" Erkebulan Alimzhan and 1st year master student of the educational program "Computer Science and Technology" Murat Bolysbek.

The 2nd International Student Olympiad in Statistics was held within the framework of the project "Development of CIS Statistics".
