International round table on the topic: “Issues of improving the criminal legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan”
On May 24, 2024, in Astana, in the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Institute of Parliamentarism of the Republic of Kazakhstan held an international round table on the topic: “Issues of improving the criminal legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.”
Speakers at the round table included Senate Deputy S.T. Medebaev, Mazhilis Deputy A.T. Kuspan, Judge of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Kazakhstan E.Zh. Sarsembayev, Doctor of Law, Professor I.Sh. Borchashvili, Doctor of Law, Professor R.M. Abdrashev. Russian scientists actively took part: Doctor of Law, Professor A. I. Chuchaev, Candidate of Legal Sciences A. A. Komarov, and other scientists and practical experts were also present.
Head of the Department of Customs, Financial and Environmental Law of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Doctor of Law, Professor Guldana Amangeldievna Kuanalieva made a report on the topic “Some problems of improving the criminal legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan” and expressed her suggestions.
At this event, the main issues of improving criminal legislation were discussed, and a qualitative contribution to science and law enforcement practice was formulated. The international round table was held at a very high level, demonstrating a high level of organization and deep professionalism of the participants.
