Children's drawing competition was held in KazNU

Al-Farabi KazNU especially celebrated the International Children's Day. Trade union "Parasat" of KazNU employees held a drawing contest among children of university employees under the title: "My parents work in KazNU".

Chairman of the trade union "Parasat" Talgat Mekebayev noted that childhood is the happiest time for all of us. Therefore, the trade union together with the administration make every effort to ensure that our children spent this holiday with benefit and pleasure.
This year is a jubilee year for our university, and the trade union decided to reflect this event in children's drawings. The drawing contest is dedicated to the 90th anniversary of KazNU. Children and grandchildren of the university employees took part in it.

The purpose of the contest was to arouse children's interest in the work of their parents and to familiarize them more closely with the activities of our university.
The contest was attended by children in age groups: under 6 years old, 7-10 years old, 11-15 years old. Works made in different drawing techniques - graphics, watercolor, painting - were accepted. During the selection process, the drawings were posted on Instagram of "Parasat" trade union, where the voting for the prize of audience sympathy was held.
Looking at the contest works the jury was once again convinced how talented our children are. They allowed adults to see how colorful and diverse life at the university is. Mothers, fathers, grandmothers and grandfathers in the drawings held classes in classrooms, showed the sights of the campus, marched at the military department and even fixed electrical appliances.

In the group of up to 6 years old 1st place took Bekbolat Zere, 2nd place Kayyrbekkyzy Nurai, 3rd place shared Akzam Mariyam and Zhaksybekova Nursulu.
In the group of 7-10 years old 1st place took Ulankyzy Ayganym, 2nd place Kenzhebek Aimira, 3rd place shared by Kabanbai Altynai and Abdurashitkyzy Ayana.
In the senior group the 1st place was taken by Ergash Diyara, the 2nd place was taken by Zhenis Karakoz and Kylyshbai Hafiz, the 3rd place was shared by Abdikhan Aiken and Sokol Maria.
All drawings were awarded with prizes from "Parasat" trade union.
 Both children and parents were happy!
