Chairman of the Senate delivered a leadership lecture at KazNU

"Chairman of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan Maulen Ashimbayev gave a leadership lecture at the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University," - reports the press service of the Senate.

The meeting was attended by members of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, state and public figures, Chairman of the Board - Rector of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Zhanseit Tuimebaev, teachers, young scientists and students of the university.  

The participants discussed the tasks set by the Head of State at a recent meeting with young scientists. The lecture included proposals for the introduction of innovative methods and technologies, including training and professional development of scientific personnel, social and financial support for research projects. 

The Speaker of the Senate noted that for almost a century the University has played a key role in strengthening the human resources potential of our country, contributes to the development of science and introduction of innovations.

"On the initiative of the President of the country Kasym-Jomart Kemelevich Tokayev, systematic work is carried out aimed at building a fair Kazakhstan and improving the welfare of citizens. Within the framework of comprehensive activities, priority attention is given to supporting talented and active youth. Conditions are created for obtaining quality education, science and creativity, sports, as well as employment of young specialists. At the same time, it is important to realize that building a fair Kazakhstan is our common task, the successful implementation of which depends on the participation of everyone. Youth is the driving force of modernization, and this is a great responsibility. It is important to remain committed to such fundamental values as unity and solidarity, justice and responsibility, law and order, diligence and professionalism", - emphasized Maulen Ashimbayev, addressing the participants of the meeting.

In his speech the Chairman of the Senate also dwelt on the reforms initiated by the Head of State.
