KazNU staudents took part in the environmental action “March of Parks”

The educational practice of 1st year students studying in the educational program “Tourism” has started. During the period of acclimatization and preparation for the training hike from the Turgen Gorge to the Kolsai Lakes, the students made radial trips to the Bear and Kairak waterfalls, as well as to the Oy-Zhailau tract. During radial outings, educational groups traditionally took part in the “March of Parks” campaign, collecting garbage along the trails and at tourist sites. This experience is especially useful for instilling a sense of personal responsibility for the preservation of the unique nature of Kazakhstan, the need for rational environmental management and ensuring the sustainability of tourism development.
