On 06/10/2024, the Faculty of International Relations, Al-Farabi Kazakh National University hosted a leadership lecture by Dr. John Goodyear from the University of Birmingham (UK) on the topic: "British culture in a Globalised world."
Dr John Goodyear – Assistant Professor of the Department of Modern Languages, a leading intercultural practitioner who has made major contributions to cross-cultural understanding between Germany, Great Britain and China in his varied capacities as a TV presenter, pedagogical leader and manager, teacher, lecturer, writer, senior editor, test leader, teacher trainer, public speaker and translator.
During his speech, John Goodyear spoke about the peculiarities of education in the UK, highlighted the topic of globalization and the peculiarities of British culture.
