On June 6-7, the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University hosted an international conference on the study of medicinal plants and natural medicines.

Scientists and experts from China, Japan, Uzbekistan, Portugal, Malaysia, Thailand, India, Pakistan, South Korea, Turkey, Cyprus, Kyrgyzstan, and Azerbaijan were invited to the event. A tour of the museums and the university campus was organized for them. Foreign scientists got acquainted with the work of the scientific research center of medicinal plants of Kaznu.

After the plenary lectures and scientific discussions, the staff of KazNU and the organizers of the conference at the gala evening, observing Kazakh traditions, dressed chapans for honorary foreign guests and exchanged gifts. The guests witnessed a concert program that included folk dances and songs prepared by the ART Center.
