KazNU took part in the summer anti-corruption school

Pavlodar hosted the opening of the summer anti-corruption school for teachers and compliance officers of universities. It was attended by teachers of Al-Farabi KazNU.

 

Medet Amralinov, Head of the Department of Anti-Corruption Service in Pavlodar, took part in the opening ceremony. As a speaker made a presentation by Mr. Miras Kargabay, Head of the Department of formation of anti-corruption culture of the prevention service of the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan on Combating Corruption on the topic "Anti-corruption policy and international standards of combating corruption.

Other speakers included: Adilet Mukushev, National Program Coordinator of the UN Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) in Kazakhstan, Gulnara Isenova, Director of the Extension Center of NAO "Toraigyrov University", ISO 37001 implementer and auditor, and others. 

On the first day of the summer school participants were divided into eight teams by color and held an intellectual quiz game. Each team was represented by five people. During the summer school, trainings were held, and at the end of each team was tasked to prepare projects on various anti-corruption topics. On the last day of the anti-corruption summer school, the participants had to present and defend their project presentation.

A.Zhainak, a lecturer of the Department of Theory and History of State and Law, Constitutional and Administrative Law of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, also took part in the summer anti-corruption school. As noted by the organizers, the purpose of the anti-corruption school is to review international and Kazakhstani experience in combating corruption, strengthen knowledge of anti-corruption legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as the study and implementation of anti-corruption tools in the education system. 

At the end, all participants received certificates and an excursion to sacred places was organized for them.
