The faculty hosted the next City Scientific Seminar with the support of the Institute of Mathematics and Computer Modeling and our faculty. At the seminar, Nursultan Kuanyshov made a report “Numerical Invariants of Group Homomorphisms”. In turn, the speaker is a graduate of KazNU and completed his doctoral studies at the University of Florida under the guidance of Alexander Dranishnikov. The seminar was attended by doctoral students and teachers of the faculty, as well as well-known professors in our country from the Institute of Mathematics and Computer Modeling of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The speaker defended his topic at a high level and also answered questions from the audience. We think that the questions asked are a sign that the report was interesting.
