Representatives from Sai. Tech Global Corporation visited the faculty's innovation laboratories

The dean of the Faculty of Geography and Environmental Sciences welcomed representatives of the Korean Sai Corporation. Tech Global Corporation is led by Sai Group founder and chairman Arthur Lee.

At the meeting, Dean of the Faculty of Geography and Environmental Sciences A.S. Aktymbayeva presented the scientific and innovative activities of the faculty, which are carried out in the scientific center “Sustainable Development and Environmental Management”, the Kazakh-Chinese Laboratory “Remote Sensing Technology and Applications” and current research projects that are aimed at studying and developing sustainable methods of environmental management and adaptation to climate change.

During the visit of the guests, students of Xinjiang University who are attending the Summer School at the faculty shared their impressions of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.

This meeting implements SDG 4 - quality education; SDG 8 - decent work and economic growth; SDG 17 - partnerships for sustainable development.
