Educational practice of NPU branch master students

Master students of the Kazakshatn branch of the Northwestern Polytechnical University, located on the basis of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, completed practical training at NPU (Xi'an, China) from June 6 to June 27, 2024. During the practice, master students got acquainted with the campus, research centers and laboratories of NPU, and also prepared a project on the topics of their thesis under the guidance of approved scientific supervisors from NPU. On June 24, 2024, master students successfully defended the results of the project at a meeting in a hybrid form (online and offline) with the participation of heads and scientists of KazNU and NPU.

The opening ceremony, held at the NPU International Conference Center, was attended by senior lecturer of the Department of Solid State Physics and Nonlinear Physics of the Faculty of Physics and Technology Zhexebay Dauren., Director of the International Cooperation Office of NPU Kong Jie, Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Materials Li Heng and others. The event was attended by more than 50 NPU leaders, teachers and scientists. Dean of the Faculty of Physics and Technology Beissen Nurzada, Acting Head of the Department of Solid State Physics and Nonlinear Physics of the Faculty of Physics and Technology Khaniyev Bakyt, Deputy Head of the Department of Computer Science of the Faculty of Information Technology Satymbekov Maxatbek and other scientists and teachers took part from KazNU.
