Cleanup at the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics
On September 14, students and teachers of the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics held a cleanup day aimed at cleaning and improving the university territory. The event was attended not only by students, but also by the faculty management, which emphasized the importance of this event. Among the participants were the dean of the faculty Doszhan Nursultan, senior curator-adviser Abenov Bolat, deputy deans, heads of the departments and their deputies.
The cleanup day was not just an action to clean up, but also a manifestation of a responsible attitude to the environment. By joining this event, the faculty participants supported international initiatives to protect the environment and promote sustainable development. This cleanup day contributes to the implementation of Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 15 - "Life on Land", which is aimed at preserving biodiversity and maintaining ecosystems in harmony with urbanization.
The Faculty actively promotes the values of environmental responsibility among its students and faculty, emphasizing the importance of preserving the environment. The university grounds cleanup was a shining example of this approach, with each participant contributing to maintaining cleanliness and order on campus.
The University as a whole strives to form an environmentally responsible community, regularly organizing such events to maintain order on the territory and foster a culture of caring for the environment. This cleanup demonstrated that collective efforts can make our campus not only a place for study, but also a model of environmental responsibility for all its participants.
The Faculty plans to continue participating in such initiatives, actively involving students and staff in important environmental projects that contribute to the conservation of natural resources and the protection of ecosystems.
