Huawei Technologies Kazakhstan LLP, the official partner of the Huawei ICT Academy at the Department of Electronics and Astrophysics of the Physics and Technology Faculty of the Farabi University, held the official launch of the international ICT Olympiad "ICT Competition 2024-2025 Middle East & Central Asia" in Kazakhstan.

The "Roadshow" dedicated to this event, which became the official announcement of the event, was held on September 19 in the KazNU library with the participation of Huawei representatives and instructors of the Huawei ICT Academy.

The event was attended by Member of the Board - Vice-Rector for Scientific and Innovative Activities of Farabi University Aitzhanova Zhamila, Dean of the Physics and Technology Faculty Beisen Nurzada and all interested students of the bachelor's, master's and PhD levels.

Following the results of the Roadshow, five students of the Department of Electronics and Astrophysics: Aldatayev Dias Shergzyuly (IECS-429), Nurlanuly Ramazan (IECS-431), Tasanov Sanzhar (RET-1), Abdugapparov Magzhan (RET-1) and Egizbay Nursultan (RET-421) received prizes and Huawei awarded them valuable prizes. All participants were also awarded memorable souvenirs with the Huawei logo.
