Discussed issues of publication ethics
Chimiza Lamazhaa, Editor-in-Chief of the journal ‘New Studies of Tuva’, gave a lecture at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University on ‘Peculiarities of work of journals according to international standards and issues of publication ethics’.
The event brought together editors of scientific journals, scientists, teachers and students of KazNU to learn from the lecturer's experience and knowledge, exchange opinions and discuss current issues and trends in the field of scientific publications.
Chimiza Kuder-oolovna is the head of the Laboratory of Ethnology and Linguocultural Studies at Tuva State University, Doctor of Philosophy. She gave an overview of modern approaches and methods used in scientific journals to comply with international standards, presented new technologies such as the use of artificial intelligence in the peer review process and online platforms to increase the transparency of publications.
Chimiza Kuder-oolovna paid special attention to the issues of international standards, as well as ethical aspects of scientific publication. She also shared her experience in implementing best practices and their effectiveness in various fields of science. She highlighted the interaction of scientific journals with universities and research institutes, spoke about the integration of scientific research into the educational process and training of future scientists taking into account modern requirements of publication activity.
The lecture was followed by a discussion during which participants asked questions about new standards and methodology necessary for successful publication of scientific papers and development of scientific communication, aspects of peer review, plagiarism prevention and transparency in scientific communication.
