Referendum as a Key Institution of Democracy.

       On September 27, 2024, at 19:30, in the 16th student residence of the Higher School of Economics and Business, senior curator I.U. Kuliev held a roundtable discussion with students on the topic "Referendum as a Key Institution of Democracy." The goal of the event was to explain to students the legal and political significance of the concept of a referendum. This ensures the implementation of SDG 16 – Peace, justice and strong institutions. Additionally, the upcoming referendum on October 6 is a form of expressing the will of citizens by voting on the most important issues of national, regional, or local significance. Being actively involved and not remaining indifferent to such a significant event in the country is the primary duty of every citizen. This is a crucial moment that will affect not only today’s Kazakhstan but also the fate of future generations!
