On September 30, 2024, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Turkology and History of the Eastern Countries Abeldaev Zhenisbek Akimbekuly held an open lesson with 4th-year students studying in the educational program "6B02301 - Foreign Philology (Oriental Languages)" on the subject "New and Modern Literature of the Country of the Studied Language" on the topic "The Era of the National Literature of Turkey (1911-1923)". The event was attended by Deputy Head of the Department for Scientific and Innovative Work and International Relations, PhD, Associate Professor E.Z. Dulaeva, Chairman of the Methodological Council of the Department, Senior Lecturer A.Zh. Nazarova, Senior Lecturer N.M. Shuinshina-Meta and Young Lecturer K. Kaipola.
The open lesson was held at the proper level. The teachers were pleased with the detailed answers of the students. Askar Akbota fully revealed the emergence and development of the period of "National Literature" of Turkey in her speech, and Kokteubay Nazerke comprehensively analyzed the features of the period of "National Literature". Zarina Utegenova examined the work of Ziya Gökalp, the ideologist of the period of "National Literature", and Asan Anar analyzed the poetics of Halid Edip Adıvar, the most famous writer of the period of "National Literature".
During the open lesson, students recited poems from the works of famous poets of the "National Literature" period Mehmet Akif Ersoy, Yahya Kemal Beyatli, Mehmet Emin Yurdakul, Ziya Gökalp, Faruk Nafiz Çamlıbel. In addition, the intellectual group game for the faculty on the topic of "National Literature" - a word puzzle - aroused general interest.
A gallery of famous poets and writers of the "National Literature" period was organized. Technical means were widely used.
At the end of the open lesson, the teachers present shared their opinions regarding this open lesson, expressed satisfaction and wished the students success.
