Master-class on Diplomatic Translation, SDG 4, 17

     On September 30, the Academic regional resource center for information support about the UN at the Faculty of International Relations of al-Farabi KazNU organized a master class on diplomatic translation, which was conducted by the lecturer of the Department of Diplomatic Translation, simultaneous interpreter Bekova K. Zhansaya.

During the master class, the speaker highlighted in detail the specifics of work in the field of diplomatic translation, giving examples from practical experience. Students from various universities and courses took an active part in the discussions. The master class provided an opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of the importance of the translator's work in the international sphere.

Special attention was paid to the discussion of the Sustainable Development Goals, in particular, Goal 4 "Quality education" and Goal 17 "Partnership for Sustainable Development", in the context of their support through diplomatic translation.
