From the World Nomad Games to International Diplomacy: My Experience as an Attaché for the USA Delegation.

I had the pleasure to attend the 5th World Nomad Games as the attaché for the USA delegation! My duties included, of course, accompanying the US delegation – about 30 people representing 9 types of sports – morning till night including the opening and closing ceremonies of the Games, as well as simultaneous and text interpretation in 3 languages, assistance on the sports field, assistance in or direct resolution of any problems that arose, communication with TV and online media, assistance with transportation to and from the venues and monitoring the delegates' schedule.


I also had the opportunity to attend several events organized by the US Embassy with the Kokpar/Kok-Boru team and meet embassy representatives. Although it was hard work, it helped me realize that I can, and really want to, work in the field of international relations.
