The socio-economic progress achieved over the last century has been accompanied by environmental degradation that threatens the very systems on which our future development, and indeed our very survival, depends.
Thus, 1st year students of the Educational program “Logistics (in industries)” under the guidance of adviser Ph.D., associate professor R.B. Sartova. On October 5, 2024, the departments of “Business Technologies” of the Higher School of Economics and Business took part in the university-wide event “Collect Plastic”.
Participating in the Collect Plastic challenge under Sustainable Development Goal 12 (Sustainable Consumption and Production) can be an effective way to engage your community, raise awareness of plastic waste issues and promote responsible consumption habits.
In addition, sustainable consumption and production can make a significant contribution to poverty reduction and the transition to a low-carbon and green economy.
