On October 5, the curators-advisors for the first-year Applied Mathematics students, Bayteliyeva A.A. and Kudaybergenov A.K., together with their students, organized a cleanup day on the grounds of the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics.
The outdoor work was engaging, and everyone was involved in the process. As a result, not only did the area become more welcoming, but the students also took away pleasant memories of the time spent together.

The cleanup was part of a global task to create sustainable and resilient cities and communities (11 SDGs Kazakhstan). Students and curators contributed to the formation of a cleaner and safer environment, which is an important step towards environmental sustainability. Cleaning the territory helps reduce pollution and maintain comfort in public spaces.

In addition to the benefits for the environment, such events contribute to the development of a sense of responsibility and care for their city. Each participant felt their importance in the common cause, and joint work united the students and the curator, forming not only a clean territory, but also a friendly team.

Thus, participation in the cleanup became for students not only a practical lesson, but also a way to contribute to the creation of a comfortable and sustainable urban environment, developing environmental awareness and commitment to maintaining order and cleanliness.
