Sustainable Tourism Development in Kazakhstan: Balance between Economic Growth and Conservation of Natural Resources

On September 20, 2024, on the day of World Tourism Day, students of the Economics program of the Higher School of Economics and Business, as part of the implementation of SDG4, SDG7, SDG8, held a scientific round table on the topic "Sustainable Tourism Development in Kazakhstan: Balance between Economic Growth and Conservation of Natural Resources". They considered the social, cultural and economic benefits of tourism, and also talked about strengthening friendship and mutual understanding between peoples. At the same time, strategies for sustainable tourism development were analyzed taking into account economic and environmental aspects.
