Historical scientists visiting the Kazakh secondary school-Lyceum No. 6 in the city of Esik

On October 9, 2024, Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Faculty of History, Department of "History of Kazakhstan" organized, within the framework of the Sustainable Development Goals ("Quality Education"), organized a meeting with teachers and students of grades 10-11 of the Kazakh secondary school-Lyceum No. 6 in the city of Esik, Almaty region on the topic «The Great Steppe- The Eternal people». The meeting was attended by the teaching staff of the Department of History of Kazakhstan of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Head of the Department of History of Kazakhstan Karibayev Bereket Bakytzhanovich, Associate professors Nurpeis Taldybek Alievich, Noyanov Edil Noyanovich, Arynov Zhumakan Makanovich.

In his speech, the head of the Department of History of Kazakhstan Karibayev Bereket Bakytzhanovich told the students about the place of historical science in the history of mankind, revealed the meaningful content of the terms and ideas "Uly Dala", "Mangilik el" in the discipline "History of Kazakhstan", which has a multi-thousand-year history, familiarized them with information about the university and the educational programs that they prepare at the faculty. Associate Professor Taldybek Aliyevich reviewed the history of the Fatherland for several thousand years, Edil Noyanovich shared his opinion on the place occupied by the history of Kazakhstan in the formation of patriotic qualities of today's youth. Zhumakan Makanovich stopped at the place of the ancient Saks in the history of Semirechye. All the scientists who participated in the event called on the high school students of this school to study at the university in the near future. At the end of the meeting, the scientists of the Department of "History of Kazakhstan" answered the students' questions.. In turn, teachers and students of the school appealed to the teachers of the Faculty of History to visit their schools, take part in public holidays and events related to historical topics, and give an hour-long leadership lecture.
